May 13, 2014 was Trenton's Mayoral race.
There was only a 26% turnout at the polls. That is very DISGRACEFUL. I feel that as concerned citizens we should have a higher turnout. Especially 90% of the city has raised complaint about public safety. I don't understand how change can be received when you are not a willing participant.
The 6 candidates were:
- Walker Worthy (my candidate)
- Eric Jackson
- Paul Perez
- Oliver "Bucky" Leggett
- Jim Golden
- Kathy McBride
ERIC E. JACKSON | 3,020 | 30.16% |
WALKER M. WORTHY, JR. | 1,546 | 15.44% |
JAMES B. GOLDEN, JR. | 1,507 | 15.05% |
W. OLIVER 'BUCKY' LEGGETT | 910 | 9.09% |
